Own the Shopify operations behind a DTC fragrance brand. Manage a large product catalogue, apps, automations and supplier integrations, while helping launch products and localised storefronts quickly and reliably.
About the Company
We are recruiting for a DTC fragrance brand selling through its own e-commerce stores.
The business manages a large product catalogue and works with external suppliers and manufacturing partners. We are looking for someone who can keep the Shopify operation running smoothly while supporting new products, markets and storefronts.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands what happens behind a Shopify store.
You will manage products, apps, integrations and operational workflows, ensuring that the storefront connects reliably with inventory, fulfilment, payments and customer communications.
You will work with designers and developers, but you will own the day-to-day setup, coordination and quality checks that keep the business moving.
Shopify & Product Catalogue Operations
Manage a large catalogue of fragrance products, including SKUs, variants, product information and availability.
Build, update and publish product and sales pages efficiently. Keep catalogue data accurate and consistent across stores and connected systems.
Integrations, Inventory & Fulfilment
Connect Shopify products and orders with suppliers, third-party manufacturers and delivery systems.
Maintain reliable workflows for stock updates, order routing and fulfilment. Identify mismatches or broken connections and coordinate fixes before they create customer problems.
Apps & Automation
Configure and manage the apps supporting the e-commerce operation.
Build and maintain workflows using tools such as n8n, Zapier or similar platforms. Understand how data moves between systems, troubleshoot issues and reduce repetitive manual work.
Store Launches & Localisation
Publish translated pages and support the rollout of stores into new markets.
Duplicate and configure storefronts, checking that products, apps, currencies, payments and fulfilment settings work correctly in each environment.
CRM & Customer Communications
Manage the operational setup of Klaviyo and connected CRM tools.
Ensure customer data, events and relevant workflows are connected correctly, and troubleshoot issues affecting segmentation or automated communications.
Design & Development Coordination
Review Figma designs from an implementation perspective before development begins.
Identify features that may conflict with the existing backend, apps or checkout setup — including upsells, currency handling, payment processors and fulfilment rules.
Translate those constraints into clear feedback for designers and practical briefs for developers. Understand which changes are straightforward and which require more substantial development.
Quality Checks & Troubleshooting
Check new pages, products, integrations and store changes before they go live.
Test the full customer journey, from product selection and checkout to order transmission and fulfilment. Take ownership of problems and follow them through to resolution.
Who We’re Looking For
You have strong practical experience managing Shopify stores and their connected systems.
You are comfortable handling detailed operational work while understanding how individual changes affect the wider business.
You should bring:
- Strong knowledge of Shopify administration, product catalogues, variants and large SKU volumes.
- Experience configuring apps and managing integrations between e-commerce systems.
- Confidence with automation tools such as n8n or Zapier.
- Experience with inventory, fulfilment and external supplier workflows.
- Working knowledge of Klaviyo and CRM integrations.
- Familiarity with multilingual and multi-currency storefronts.
- The ability to review Figma designs and identify technical or operational constraints.
- Enough understanding of code and web development to brief developers, assess complexity and ask the right questions.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and follow-through.
- Clear communication in English.
Working with Specialists
You do not need to be a developer or designer. Those specialists will support you. Your role is to understand the requirements, anticipate constraints and make sure the implementation works.
What Success Looks Like
Products and translated pages go live quickly and accurately.
Inventory, orders and fulfilment data move reliably between Shopify and external partners.
Apps and automations work consistently, and technical constraints are identified before they become expensive rework.
The business can launch products and expand its storefronts with fewer operational bottlenecks.
Why Join
You will have broad ownership of the operational side of a DTC e-commerce business.
This role suits someone who enjoys working across tools, solving practical problems and making systems run better — with direct access to the people responsible for design, development and fulfilment.
Working Arrangement & Compensation
Fully remote, full-time role.
Annual compensation: up to $24,000 USD, depending on experience and capabilities.
